She is an electric entertainer who can be warm and loving as well as controversial.
In July of 2008, she stepped out into the world by marching in the July 4th parade in Lexington, Kentucky and has never stopped trying to make people laugh, smile and think.
Helena has entertained from New York City to Fort Lauderdale and even down in Texas but Lexington, Kentucky is the place she calls home.
She hosted the Lexington Pride Festival in 2017 and 2018; she was the creator and original host of Praise Fest – Draggin’ For Jesus; and she continues to use her persona to raise money for non-profits all over.
People who know her lovingly call her “Mamaw” but everyone knows her as the one and only comedy queen with the voice of a choir boy past his adolescence,
Helena (pronouced HELL n uh) Handbasket.
